Coolsat Card Reader
The Card Reader for the Coolsat 4000 PRO is now available. A direct fit into the slot interface in the PRO, this reader enables many more possibilities for FTA's future.
This is not only just a card reader, there are big plans for this reader, can already accept and understand Iderto, ViaAccess and all similar IS07816 standard smartcards!
No electronics experience necessary to install. If you can use a screw driver and plug the pre-fitted power end into the space inside, you are done!
We also offer a FREE-XTV Access Card that includes a 14 months subscription service. FREE-XTV is a 24 hour a day adult channel now showing on the satellite IntelStar America 5 (Telstar 5) on transpondener 14. They will be adding two more 24 hour a day adult channels in the near future.
Instruction the Card Reader installation:
Tools required - a Phillips Screw Driver
Installation is easy. Simply pop the top off your Coolsat Receiver, screw in the reader with the supplied screws, plug in the power cord into its respective socket on the motherboard, then punch out the preforated plastic on the front panel where the card goes so you can insert your card.
Power on your unit with everything hooked up and card inserted, then do a blind scan on T5, and presto! Your subsciption period begins counting down now. Please note that the internal "clock" on the smart card only begins counting down once you have done a blind scan and are watching the channel for the first time.
